On 13th November around 20 people assembled to plant 105 trees to form the basis of the Shrewton War Memorial Copse. There were representatives of St. Mary’s,  Shrewton RBL, the WI and regulars from the Plume plus other volunteers. The first tree was planted by four generations of the Cruse family, led by great grandfather, Howard, a WW2 veteran. They were assisted by members of the Shrewton pre-school group. An Act of Remembrance and Dedication was conducted by the Rev. David Walters.

April 2024 - Shrewton School organised a scarecrow trail, to help celebrate King Charles' coronation, which the W.I. 'Village Matters' group entered.
